Denver in 4 hours: historic downtown, art, and urban parks

Move on to the Colorado State Capitol. If it is open, climb to the steps for views over downtown Denver and, on clear days, the Rocky Mountains in the background. 5 Attraction Denver Art Museum Denver 02:00 - 02:45. Make the next stop the Denver Art Museum. Even on a quick visit, the exterior architecture makes it worthwhile; if you enjoy art, choose one or two main galleries. 6 Attraction Confluence Park (Downtown) - Denver Denver 03:05 - 03:40. Take the longest walk of the loop to Confluence Park, where the South Platte River and Cherry Creek meet.
