Located in the region of Charneca, Aldeia do Xisto Sarzedas (Castelo Branco) is the only village of the network that had a noble title associated with it, that of Count of Sarzedas. As heritage, it has the Pillory, the Main Church, the Sineira Tower, the Chapel of Mercy, the Town Fountain, the Chapel of St. Peter and the Chapel of St. Anthony. The Sineira Tower can be used as a lookout for the village and the adjoining Charneca region. The village is part of the PR3 CTB (Xisto de Sarzedas Path) land route starting at the St. Anthony Chapel.
