Xisto Village of Aldeia das Dez (Oliveira do Hospital)
Located at the foot of Monte do Colcurinho, part of the mountain range of Serra do Açor, Aldeia do Xisto Aldeia das Dez (Oliveira do Hospital) is a predominantly granite-built village. Also known as Aldeia das Flores (Village of Flowers) due to its citizens' custom of decorating its streets with flowers. It holds a rich oral heritage, exemplified by the legend associated with its name's origin, which dates back to the time of Reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula, as well as a rich material heritage, which includes four fountains, several buildings, a section of pavement that dates back to the Roman times, two alminhas from the 18th century and three viewpoints.
