Located in this village is the Tower of Peace, a monument celebrating the end of the Second World War. It is a tower with a clock and a bell, which rings 1620 times on the 7th of each May to commemorate the end of the conflict. Another one of the attractions is the Simões Dias House-Museum, the recovered mill of Figueiral, the Parish Church and Fonte das Moscas. As natural attractions, the village is located near the Fraga da Pena Waterfall and the Mata da Margaraça, one of the most important deciduous forests in the country.
