In Góis
A village located at an altitude of 770 meters, the highest altitude among the Schist Villages. The city's constructions are peculiar because they are organized in a defensive arrangement against weather, intruders and wolves, allowing communication and circulation between different spaces. It can be used as a starting point for exploring the Oitava Forest Park and Ribeira da Pena. The village is located in the Site of Community Importance Serra da Lousã, in the Rede Natura 2000, which presents a very peculiar fauna and flora due to its irregular topography. It is one of the four villages that are part of the PR1 GOI (Schist Route of the Góis Villages) land route.
