"Aldeia do Xisto Aigra Nova (Góis) is a small but very beautiful and well-preserved village. One of its attractions is the Ecomuseu - Tradições do Xisto, which has two areas: one dedicated to the mountain range and its nature and another one dedicated to the cultural and ethnographic heritage of the region. The village is located in the Serra da Lousã Site of Community Importance, included in the Natura 2000 Network, which has a very peculiar fauna and flora due to its irregular topographic characteristics. It is one of the four villages that are part of the PR1 GOI (Caminho do Xisto das Aldeias de Góis) land route."
