"In the heart of the "Wonderful Kingdom" of the Alvão Natural Park, the Fisgas de Ermelo waterfalls stretch for 300m along a deep ravine. The Miradouro offers an aerial view of the fractures and jets that the Olo River paints with white foam and vaporous cascades. A glimpse of the abyss, a Dante-esque vision of the bowels of hell. From afar, the Velão unravels, Ermelo winds itself through the Olo River ravines and the Marão mountain stands tall as a petrified giant. A unique, unreal and disquieting place.
