The Miradouro do Caminho da Costa is located in a wide area, accessible by the National Road n.º 102, arriving to Foz Côa from the North, being one of the ideal places to visualize the landscape. It is an excellent place for contemplation, especially of the Vale da Vila, over the Douro river, and from which the view extends to the Serra de Bornes (with approximately 1,200m of altitude and 45 km away in a straight line). This "viewpoint", in metal structure, initially has the shape of a corridor, then widening, inviting tourists to stay in this "launched" point over the escarpa, from where, while they contemplate the landscape, they can complement their interpretation with some contents inscribed in the reading table attached to the grating.
