"A small but beautiful village, which rises up in a landscape dominated by several surrounding mountains. It is located close to the São Simão Fringes, a quartzite ridge next to which the São Simão Fringes Promenade was built, connecting the adjacent ones, like the river beach and lookout. As part of its historical heritage, it presents the São Simão Bridge, whose construction supposedly dates back to the Roman Era, and the São Simão Hermitage, which dates back to the 15th Century."
