"The Tower of Grade, Tower and House of Grade or Lighthouse Tower is situated in the former parish of Grade, it is one of the many tower-houses that dotted the landscape of Entre-Douro-e-Minho in the late Middle Ages. Today, and despite the multiple transformations that have occurred, its modest silhouette still remembers that medieval past."
