The Torrão Dam is located on the Tâmega River, between the parishes of Alpendorada, Várzea and Torrão, in the municipality of Marco de Canaveses, and the parish of Rio de Moinhos, in the municipality of Penafiel, Portugal.

It was the first hydroelectric dam to be built on the Tâmega River

One of the most visited tourist spots is the "Baloiço da Barragem do Torrão", a swing suspended from a tree located next to the Torrão Dam. It is a popular spot for families to spend time together and go fishing.
