If you know the Douro River you know it is beautiful no matter the perspective.

But in this stage, the terrain morphology is awe-inspiring as the view of this lookout.

Being able to contemplate the mighty flight of birds such as royal eagles or vultures, of considerable size, is something spectacular.

Appreciating the silence and let yourself be taken away by the beauty of the views, in the middle of nowhere, is not something you can do often.

Part of the access to the lookout is done by dirt road, but nothing special.

It can be done both by car and by motorcycle. Must-visit place.
