The Mouchão of Bico da Goiva in Salvaterra de Magos was an abandoned place full of garbage and high vegetation, a completely abandoned place.
Until the Salvaterra de Magos Parish Council started the work and transformed this place into a riverbank picnic park.
Located in Santarém district and near Lisbon, it has a beautiful view of the Tagus River on the dividing line between Ribatejo and Lisbon.
The parishioners started to get to work and created an ideal space for a picnic and take photos.
In Salvaterra follow the sign that says “Aldeia de Escaroupim” and from Salvaterra turn left to a dirt road and after about 1.5 km you reach the Bico da Goiva Picnic Park.
