The Baloiço da Praia do Rei Cortiço is an oceanic beach located at the Praia do Rei Cortiço. The beach is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and has a lifeguard. South of the beach stretches the long sandy beach to Baleal, with about 11 kilometers in length. Praia do Rei Cortiço is included in the councils of Óbidos and Peniche and has a very extensive sandy beach that becomes wider in the central area, next to the concession. In this area there is a small water course. To the south, after the rocky slabs, there is another larger sand corner where another stream runs. Access to the beach is made by a dirt road of little more than 1 Km which culminates in a dirt square with parking support functions.
