The village of São Tomé de Negrelos once was a Vila and Couto, belonging to the Concelho de Negrelos, which, after being extinguished, was integrated into the Concelho de Santo Tirso.

Worthy of a visit are the Parochial Church, the Chapel of the Santíssimo Sacramento with a Nós Dome, a sixteenth century loggia, a unique example in the region.

Whoever goes to São Tomé de Negrelos cannot miss out on visiting the farmhouses where some of the best green wines of the region are produced.
