This is the latest attraction of Pateira do Carregal, a Swing strategically placed to allow contemplation of one of the magnificent landscapes that Pateira has.
Made for all ages, in this swing, breathe peace, joy and much love.
It was mounted on the track of one of the most important MTB races in the region of Aveiro "Rota da Mamoa".
We believe that also for the lovers of MTB, this will be a beautiful point to reload their energies.
The swing is located in Lagoa da Pateira, in the Carregal Ribeirinho Park, more known as Pateira do Carregal, which belongs to the parish of Requeixo Nossa Senhora de Fátima e Nariz, Aveiro.
It is 18 minutes away from the center of Aveiro, at a distance of about 15 km.
Access is completely free and allowed at any time of the day.
The creation of this point of interest arose from the hands of the Friends of Pateira in order to once again make known what is best in this idyllic location.
This leisure area also includes a stunning fauna and flora, where you will find several species of birds, which take advantage of the scenery created by the nenufares, canizia and bonho to find perfect harmony for their habitat.
In this space, you can also take a walk between Pateira do Carregal and Pateira de Requeixo, a route of about 6 km round trip or even opt to make a picnic with family, as the swing is located on the banks of the Pateira, which has a River Park with capacity for 250 people and other points of interest, such as an imposing Avifauna Viewpoint.
