There is no region that does not want to have its own. This time, it was the parish of Turcifal, in Torres Vedras, that opened an attraction of this kind for all ages. Since June 10, you can swing in the open air with your hair blowing in the wind in Serra do Socorro, about 40 kilometers from Lisbon. The proposal to create such an infrastructure came from Ana Teresa Botelho, a local resident. "The city has a project called the Municipal Participatory Budget and there is always the possibility of making a proposal of up to 15,000 euros. Initially I thought of a footpath, but it was a higher value, so the idea of creating a swing came up, which is very much in fashion.” The new panoramic swing fits in the protected landscape of Serra do Socorro and the idea was to create a leisure space where families could spend the day.
