"Located on the left bank of the Zêzere River, in an almost flat area surrounded by agricultural land, this village is part of the GR33 (Grande Rota do Zêzere) land route and one of its main attractions is the Casa das Tecedeiras, which preserves the traditional artisanship of the area. Nearby the village is Geomonumento Meandros do Zêzere, which is part of Naturtejo Geopark and PR2 (Caminho do Xisto de Álvaro) land route."
