Located at the top of the mountain with the same name, this viewpoint is certainly a beautiful place for those who wish to have a view of the coastline of Esposende. Easily accessible via the Abelheira road or well-marked pedestrian trails, the space is spacious and you can calmly enjoy the scenery. With the ocean as a background to this scenario, on the crest of this peak, the Arriba Fossil, you will be able to see the agricultural fields of the millennial Marinhas, the extensive beach and the dunes of the Marinhas, Mar, Belinho and Antas beaches. In terms of occupation, this place, about two thousand years ago, was a small Castro, similar to many other Castros of Entre Douro e Minho, which probably won't have survived the Roman domination. However, the lack of archaeological excavations and the open quarries, ended up leaving more questions than information in the air. To crown this pequeno local, we see the humble chapel, dedicated to N. Sr.ª da Paz, in the end of the II World War.
