At the top of the Serra do Açor mountain range, at an altitude of 1342 meters, stands São Pedro de Açor, one of the most impressive panoramic viewpoints in central Portugal. Here, the horizon opens up in all directions: on one side you can see Colcurinho, on the other the imposing Serra da Estrela rises, while the deep valley reveals the wild nature that characterizes this mountain massif. Access is relatively simple, although the last few kilometers are on a dirt road, which only increases the sense of adventure. Up there, the silence, the wind, and the expansive landscapes create an almost mystical atmosphere. It's a perfect place to appreciate the sunset, observe the stars, or simply feel the immensity of the mountains.
