El paraíso sin duda. Una isla donde poder descubrir la naturaleza sin prisa. Vistas espectaculares y lugareños encantadores. No hay masificaciones, la vida allí es tranquila. Un lugar perfecto para desconectar y simplemente disfrutar.Quiero volver en el futuro.
Zweifelsohne eine wunderschöne Insel. Aber: wir hatten einen kleinen Mietwagen von Sixt und waren an dem orangefarbenen Aufkleber erkenntlich. Sprich, einheimische Fahrer sind uns sehr oft dicht aufgefahren, wobei wir nicht langsam gefahren sind. Bekannte touristische Orte wie Freilufttherme in Furnas sind mit 15 € Eintritt + 5 € für Spind gut bezahlt. Genauso wie ein Espresso, Kuchen oder O-Saft für je 7 € in einer Ananasplantage. Was die Einheimischen anbelangt, hatten wir folgende Eindruck: wenn man finanziell mit ihnen zu tun hat, sind sie sehr freundlich, wenn nicht, dann sind viele skeptischer. Ich kann verstehen, dass die vielen Touristen ihren Alltag anstrengender machen. Jede Reise ist ein Abenteuer :-)
Una muy grata sorpresa. Isla muy bien cuidada y limpia. Explosión de naturaleza salvaje con acantilados, bosques, lagos y un encanto que solo pocos lugares tienen con una gastronomía exquisita a base de marisco, pescado y carne, sin olvidarme de los quesos.

I remember standing by the crater lakes and thinking the colors didn’t look real. The mix of green hills and blue water felt untouched. I rented a car and just drove around with no strict plan, stopping at viewpoints whenever something looked interesting. It felt peaceful and open.
