The Santa Luzia Swing delights us with a stunning view of the city of Viseu, courtesy of its location at more than 600 meters above sea level. No other place in the municipality offers such an extensive panorama of the beautiful city of Viriato. In fact, there are two swings, one to privilege the view and the other to appeal to the tranquility of the place, with the words "fall in love" at its top, it should be said that this is not difficult to happen in this place. The Monte Santa Luzia is a beautiful leisure space just 6 kilometers from the center of Viseu, once an important proto-historic castle, now shows its characteristics linked to a past marked by the extraction of quartz. The 25 years of mineralogical exploration, carried out by the Portuguese Company of Electric Ovens, of Canas de Senhorim, between the years 1961 and 1986, created a crater that, nowadays, is a beautiful lake.
