Fort Santa Catarina, also referred to as Castle Santa Catarina and Castle Santo António,[2] is located in the parish of Lajes do Pico, municipality of the same name, on the island of Pico, in the Azores.

In a commanding position over this stretch of the coast, it formed a fortification intended for the defense of this anchorage against attacks by pirates and corsairs, once frequent in this region of the Atlantic Ocean.

It is the only example of military architecture on the island that has survived to this day.
