In Vila Nova de Foz Côa
There is an impressive panoramic view over the Douro, which is revealed in an area greater than the one seen from the viewpoints of N.ª S.ª do Viso and S. Martinho de Seixas. From here we can even see a lot of what happens in the river, particularly, for about 15 minutes, the tourist boats that travel through it. The view of the region, with its almond trees, vineyards and some olive groves is of great beauty, especially during the season when the almond tree blooms. In addition to the Douro River, from here you can see the viewpoints of N.ª Sra. do Viso and St.º Martinho de Seixas, as well as the localities of Açoeira and Sequeiros (Moncorvo) and the Monte Meão, all of which is surrounded by the river.
