Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, the Cascata de São Miguel (Cascata da Portela do Homem) (Terras de Bouro) is a waterfall surrounded by vegetation that cascades down an uneven rocky embankment to form a crystal-clear pool. There is a parking area close by and dogs are allowed, although it does not feature any support infrastructure. The site is monitored by forest security and is open 24 hours a day.
