From the top of this lookout point, we can observe one of the most beautiful panoramas of Northern Portugal. Access is easy with a 4 km route. At this site there is an old chapel from the 14th century, surrounded by tall rocks, many of them painted white, which is the thankful expression from devoted worshipers for the blessings received. Located less than 10 km from the center of Vizela, in Northern Portugal, the Miradouro do Santuário de São Bento das Peras is a beautiful location that invites us for a walk and social gathering with families, better when accompanied by a nice picnic basket, however, it is equally pleasant for some peaceful reflection or even meditation.
