Located in the city center, the Ramada Alta Chapel, or Lord of Calvary, is a small neoclassical-inspired church built in the 18th century. Equipped with a bell tower, it was restored in 1883 and was awarded the title of Royal Church by King D. Carlos in 1904. This chapel, located near the Rotunda da Boavista, is a peaceful place to contemplate the panorama of the city, even more impressive when visited at night. It also houses within its structure a chapel pleading for Our Lady of Carmo. Reaching Ramada Alta Chapel is easy, you can do it by car. Visit it and enjoy the beauty of this small church located in the heart of Porto.
