The sweet guy behind the counter doesn’t have much English, if any, but if you both point and nod at the menu, you’ll get a great meal. Out of four trips to Portugal, and many servings of bacalhau, this place is the very best I’ve ever had. They make it in house and offer a spicy sauce to go with it. We tried the soup of the day, and the lasagna also. Everything was delicious. All our food plus a bread basket, two port wines and a super bock was less than 17 euros. A tiny place with great service and warm, hearty, satisfying food. 12/10, will definitely return when we make it back to Braga.

What a little gem! Great service, very friendly, amazing food! Very fair price. A nice finding and we did eat at off hours which was very appreciated as we were starving between visits! Highly recommended!!

Back to Braga after 20 or so years and we remembered a prawn bar. Well we found it again (part judgement and mostly luck) and the prawns are just as sweet and delicious! Haven't eaten anything else here but might be back!
