Located in the Natural Park of Flores, in the Azores, the Poço do Bacalhau Waterfall (Lajes das Flores) has 90 meters in height. The waterfall forms a lagoon at its base, which can be used for baths, and the entire area is surrounded by a type of natural and endemic vegetation, the Macaronesian laurissilva. The water volume is more abundant in winter. Near the waterfall there is parking space and restaurants. Open 24 hours a day.
