Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Cascata de Pitões das Júnias (Montalegre) is a waterfall that is 30 meters high. It can be admired from the "Miradouro da Cascata de Pitões das Júnias" accessed via viewing platforms and a staircase of approximately 250 steps, or from its base by a trail. The site does not have any supporting structures, but there is a nearby parking lot. The water volume may be reduced during dry periods.
