The Swing of Penalobo in Sabugal is located in the old parish of Penalobo in the municipality of Sabugal. Nine kilometers separate the swing of Penalobo from the swing of Bendada. The village of Bendada has always been recognized for its dedication and love for music, in 2020 its philharmonic orchestra celebrated 150 years, and it was, as a form of celebration that the so characteristic panoramic swing in the shape of music notes was created, by the Parish Council of Bendada. Located in the 'Eirinha' where they used to play the reveille on feast days, this swing gives those who visit it the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view that is divided between the Serra da Estrela and the Serra da Gardunha always to the sound of the tranquilizing silence of its entire environment. The swing looks to the parish and has a view of the Serra da Estrela National Park. In the middle of two natural parks, the Serra da Estrela and the Serra da Malcata. The small parish is just outside Guarda, you can leave the car and easily arrive at the swing. You can take advantage of the location and have a picnic or stay for the weekend and also take a tour of the Serra da Estrela. Ideal for families with children or not.
