"The Cascata do Pego do Inferno (Tavira) is part of a trio of waterfalls formed in limestone outcrops in the Ribeira da Asseca, alongside the Cascata da Torre and Cascata do Pomarinho. It is the largest waterfall of the three, with a height of approximately 3 metres, and is considered one of the most beautiful of the Algarve, forming a natural pool of green-tinted water up to some 7 metres deep. There is a car park about one kilometre away that is open 24 hours a day, however the site is not officially open to the public and so lacks infrastructure or visitor support."
