Such an underrated park that you really have to see. It’s a perfect spot for a picnic, with lots of little fountains that are absolutely beautiful. The whole park is centered around water, and on top of that you get an amazing view. Plus there are restrooms available! Have a nice time there!:)
This was a wonderful park. It has lovely views of the river, several stone fountains, plenty of benches, and even some stone picnic tables. It’s a great place to take a calm walk away from the bustle of town. (I did not see bathrooms, and be aware that it is not dog friendly but there are many adorable stray cats.)
A very beautiful and peaceful place to come and relax with great views on the river, aroma of eucalyptus and fruit trees. There are a cats family living here, so bringing some food for them might be a good ideas. There are a lot of benches and some tables, so it is a good idea to have a snack here. WC is also available. The only cons of the park is that it is quite small and closes so early in the evening.
Parque de Aguas is an absolute gem in Porto, beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the city. The park offers stunning views and is filled with numerous places to sit and enjoy the scenery and fountains. The well-maintained trails make it easy to explore, and the park’s gentle terrain ensures it’s accessible and pleasant to walk around. One of the highlights for me was the presence of eucalyptus trees, which not only provided a lovely fragrance reminiscent of my home in California but also added to the park’s charm. Parque de Aguas is a wonderful spot for a quiet reprieve from the city. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature in Porto.
Lovely, green, hidden gem right before downtown. Very quiet. Has a lot of options to seat and have picnics. With views over Campanhã train station and Douro river.
