Our Lady of the Conception of the Vineyards Chapel (Ribeira Grande)
Located in the Parish of Rabo de Peixe, on the island of São Miguel, the Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Conceição das Vinhas is one of the most beautiful examples of Micaelense religious architecture. Set in Lugar da Boa Vista, along the national road that connects Ponta Delgada to Ribeira Grande, it is possible to reach this wonderful construction by car.
Inside it is possible to appreciate its historical presence, in the magnificent tiles of the 17th century present in the altar, as well as in the image of the Virgin of the Conception dated from the same century.
From the exterior, the Ermida stands out for its quiet atmosphere and the stunning view of the sea and the landscapes around, giving a unique experience to those who visit.
