"The Miradouro do Mirante Velho, located 599m above sea level, is part of a set of viewpoints on the banks of the River Gerês, offering a window onto the Albufeira da Caniçada. Several metres lower, there is the Mirante Novo. Access to the viewpoint is by car along the road connecting Campo do Gerês to Vila do Gerês (M-533)."
