Praia de Nossa Senhora da Rocha is one of the most picturesque beaches in Porches, in the municipality of Lagoa, where golden sand sits between dramatic limestone cliffs and the Atlantic opens out in shades of blue and turquoise. Above the beach, the small white chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha stands on the headland, creating one of the Algarve’s most memorable coastal views and a popular spot for photographs, quiet walks and wedding ceremonies.

The beach is reached by steps and has a sheltered, intimate feel, with rocks framing the bay and adding to its natural character. A tunnel through the cliff connects it to neighbouring Praia Nova, offering an easy and enjoyable way to explore another stretch of sand nearby. In season, visitors can usually find practical facilities such as sunbeds, a beach bar, a restaurant and a snack option, making it suitable for a relaxed day by the sea.
