View from one of the highest points of the Island of Faial, the Miradouro do Norte Pequeno (Horta) provides visitors with a unique view of the sea. The viewpoint is located at the extreme north of the island, next to the Capelinhos Volcano. From here, the views are panoramic and encompass the whole bay of Horta, the cove of Alvarães, the Triangle islands and the city of Horta. The surrounding area to the viewpoint has been carefully maintained, preserving many of its natural features. It is possible to drive to the site up to the viewpoint.
