The "Miradouro do Mirante Novo (Terras de Bouro)" viewpoint is located at 575m of altitude, on a plateau at a lower position than the Mirante Velho. It works together with it as two windows to the Albufeira da Caniçada. Access to this viewpoint is made by car, using the road that connects the Campo do Gerês with the Vila do Gerês (M-533).
