"The Miradouro do Pico da Velha is a beautiful vantage point located in São Jorge. It offers great views of the mountains that surround the island parish, as well as of Santana and São Jorge. The viewpoint lies in the cleft of the mouth of the Ribeira de São Jorge and is a great place to admire the landscape. The access road is unpaved and sometimes only one car fits, but it is worth visiting this place."
