There's a new trail in Portugal that's sure to be one of the stars of social media this summer 2021.

Since this is a year when, everything indicates, many Portuguese people will still choose to spend their holidays here and go explore new secrets and territories.

And Nisa's new secret won't last very long.

In the Portuguese village in the district of Portalegre, Alto Alentejo, the Barca D'Amieira Trail opened this spring, a new course full of colorful equipment and original surprises.

The route, the City Council says, takes its name from a well-known boat there and the times when that boat “made the connection between the Barca D'Amieira railway station, on the north bank of the Tagus, and the road that leads to the village of Amieira do Tejo, in the Alentejo.
