"Lagoinha is a lake located in the crater of a volcano, which is part of the large volcanic cone that gives rise to Serra de Santa Bárbara. It is at an altitude of 786 meters above sea level. Like the Lagoa Negra, also located in Serra de Santa Bárbara, this lake is located in an area with high rainfall with intense but seasonal rains, with greater frequency in Winter."
