"Related to the volcanic formation of the Sete Cidades Massif, although already outside of it, Lagoa da Prata (Ponta Delgada) receives, like the Lagoa das Canas, the effect that the altitude of the massif causes in the formation of clouds and mists, with consequent formation of rains."
