Speciality gastronomy, created in the 1950s by Daniel Silva, a Portuguese emigrant in France, inspired by the French dish Croque Monsieur but adapted with national ingredients. Although the sauce varies from restaurant to restaurant, this dish consists of a sandwich with a steak, sausages and ham, with melted cheese and an egg on top. Furthermore, this dish takes a sauce based on beer and tomato on top and is accompanied by french fries.
