The Fort of São José, also referred to as Fort of the Ilhéu, Fort of Pontinha or Battery of Pontinha, is located in the city and municipality of Funchal, on the island of Madeira, Autonomous Region of Madeira. The fort stands at one end of the port, on the rocky formation known as Ilhéu de São José.
