"The Fort of São Domingos da Baralha or Fort of Baralha is located by the Baleeira Beach, between Cape Espichel and Sesimbra, in the Setúbal District, in Portugal. It is believed to have been built in the seventeenth century, as part of the defensive strategy of the kingdom implemented by D. João IV, beginning already in the reign of D."
