A Memorable Stop for Travelers
About a year ago, we had a brilliant stop with our motorhome (rural tourism) at Fernão Pó Winery. Water and toilets are available if needed. João, the owner, was extremely friendly and made our stay memorable. He really knows his wines and took the time to chat with us, for which we are grateful, as we learned a lot. The wine is very good and reasonably priced! In addition, there is a charming bike/walk tour called PR6 that starts here. It goes through various vineyards and also along the edges of cork oak trees, which is interesting. The area is authentic, it's the real Portugal, and the experience was excellent. We are thankful and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Discovering the Charms of Enotourism
About nine months ago, we had a stay at Fernão Pó Winery on March 31. A pleasant and easily accessible location. We parked next to the Winery, where we had access to water and use of toilets. It's a great spot for peaceful walks through the vast vineyards of the area. A friendly staff member recommended wines to us and also a good walk to take.
An Unforgettable Wine Tasting Experience
About a year ago, we went to a wine tasting at the winery and loved the experience. João showed us the entire winery and explained the entire wine production process to us! We also tasted 2 very good wines, along with some snacks, and always in pleasant company and friendly conversation with João. We highly recommend it!
