Fanal Forest in Madeira is an absolutely magical place! The views are spectacular and the atmosphere there is something truly special. When we visited, it was raining, but it actually made the whole experience even better and added a lot of character to the place. The fog, rain, and ancient trees created an incredible scenery that felt almost unreal. It’s a peaceful, unique spot and definitely one of the most memorable places on the island. Highly recommended — rain or sunshine, it’s worth visiting!

Ik had weinig verwachtingen, maar het was toch echt wel indrukwekkend. De mist en de omgeving, maar ook vooral de eeuwenoude bomen met unieke vormen. Let op dat het wel erg drassig is, dus neem oude schoenen mee. De parkeerplaats is vlakbij dus parkeren is geen probleem.

Paysage unique !! Magnifique. Pas besoin de prévoir des heures de visite, une heure suffit, habillez vous bien parce qu’il fait bien frais, et prenez des chaussures qui ne craignent pas trop pour ne pas les salir

Auch wenn es keinen Nebel gab und es sehr matschig war, war es der schönste Ort für uns auf Madeira.

Lieux vraiment insolite, prévoir des vêtements chauds et imperméables. Nous sommes partis de Câmara de Lobos où il faisait 19 degrés grand soleil, arrivé à Fanal pluie brouillard vent et 5 degrés pour les personnes non équipées ça peut être bloquant.
