The Miradouro de Fafião is one of the most beautiful spots in the Peneda-Gerês Park. It is located in the village of Fafião, in the parish of Cabril, in the municipality of Montalegre. It is an easily accessible viewpoint that offers fantastic views of the park. There is a picnic park in the area where you can leave your vehicles and continue on foot. The rest of the hiking route is a bit of a steep climb on a dirt road. Taking the steps is definitely worth it to cross the bridge and arrive to the gigantic rock with a fabulous view of the Gerês Park. It is a very pleasant space with a picnic park nearby. It is a great place to appreciate nature and to relax.
