Saia da Torre na estrada e vire à esquerda em direção a Seia. Percorra cerca de 3km nesta estrada, passando pela Estação de Esqui e apanhe a estrada de macadame que desce entre rochas e seixos. Continue até ao Covão do Meio onde a partir daí a caminhada se torna inevitável. Caminhe ao longo da passarela na parede rochosa e desça as escadas até o rio. Atravesse o Covão da Nave e deixe-se levar até ao Covão da Areia continuando no trilho até Loriga.

Next to Serrano Lake, this lake, located at 1790 meters of altitude, is part of a set of lagoons called Poços or Tanques de Loriga. It is characterized by a low water level during the summer period due to the use of the waters of this lake for irrigation of the agricultural fields of the Loriga valley. Due to the rigorous mountain climate and the altitude at which this lake is located, the water mirror is covered with a thick layer of ice during part of the winter.
