"Lagoa da Fajã dos Cubres is one of the most beautiful and exotic lakes of the island of São Jorge. In the vicinity of this lake there is a plant with small yellow flowers, the Cubres, with the scientific name (Solidago sempervirens L.) which gives it its name."
